Day before COMOPOLO Midwest Polo Champs. So if yer heading from the west, stop by and race your bikes in the little apple! Manhattan KS has quite the budding cycling scene, and this race always has a good turnout.

cross season is a go

this last weekend was swope cx, and it went swimmingly. fairly technical course with some woodsy riding, perfect for the single speeders really.



next weekend is diamond blackfan cyclocross. download the PDF HERE. Last year, the course was incredible. That, and its for a good cause.

Its as silly as it looks, and does nothing.

2010 fishers are up

What really caught my eye was the lineup of cyclocross bikes. All steel, all with sliding dropouts for the option of SS. Way to go GF!

and here's the new SS specific Superfly. Not that I have a reason for a race-ready 29er, but dammit I want this.




I might have to visit my favorite Dyke to see if his shop can get in a frame/fork on the cross bikes.

Hard Court Polo

Much like racial/religious tolerance and highway system ingenuity, hard court bicycle polo has finished its inward seeping from the coasts and hit Kansas City.
